Cameo Music Boxes

Bircraft began as part of the war effort in WWII. Our founder, Mr. Bernard Bir, was an artist who worked during those days in a bomber factory. Acrylic was developed as an alternative to glass for our bombers, and the scraps became a favorite artistic medium for Bernard. He devised carving methods and coloring mixtures to hand carve and color internal relief sculptures. Our artists still use many of his specially designed tools, formulas, and techniques to individually sculpture and decorate each Genuine Bircraft Original. Each piece is an original, individually handmade, one at a time. Our products are distinctive, handmade acrylic music boxes with a song recreated in a gold 18-note musical movement.
